2. Solar power is the topic of an Environment Maryland news conference to be held at the steps of the County Council office building today in Rockville.

3. The Power Conference takes place all day today at the Bethesda North Marriott hotel today.

4. In just three weeks, Pope Francis visits the D.C. area and federal workers are being encouraged to telework while the Pope is in town.

5. The Office of Veterans Affairs is searching for outpatient clinic space  in Gaithersburg and Rockville to better serve veterans in Montgomery County.
