1. The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County, Montgomery County Council of PTAs  and the  NAACP (Montgomery County, MD Branch Parents’ Council) are hosting a Board of Education candidates forum at 6:30 p.m. at John F. Kennedy High School.

2. A public meeting on the MD 586/Veirs Mill Road Bus Rapid Transit Study will be held by the Montgomery County Transportation Department tonight at the Montgomery County Executive Office Building.

3. Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice is scheduled to meet with residents at a Montgomery Village Community meeting at Watkins Mill High School at 6:30 p.m.

4. Grammy nominated musician Maria Muldaur will be performing at AMP by Strathmore tonight.

5. Steve Oliver, known for his jazz and adult contemporary style, is performing at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club tonight
