1. There have been more reports of an owl attacking passersby on the Capital Crescent Trail this week, and now Parks officials are considering capturing and relocating the owl.

2. Have you got your tickets? Styx is scheduled to perform a benefit concert at Strathmore for CSAAC on Nov. 10th.

3. If you missed Montgomery County’s salute to its Vietnam War veterans, you can watch the moving program, with broadcast journalist Bob Schieffer as the master of ceremonies, online, here.

4. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour on Nov. 1 as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end. Montgomery County firefighters are also recommending that you change the batteries in your smoke detectors at the same time.
