1. Montgomery County Councilmember Roger Berliner is hosting a community meeting tonight at Carderock Springs Elementary school.

2. Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett hosts the Awards for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities tonight at the Cultural Arts Center on the Silver Spring campus of Montgomery College. You can find out who is being honored, here.

3. Donations are needed for the Park Wayne Apartment residents who were displaced by a fire last week in Silver Spring, according to Councilmember Tom Hucker who has posted information about how you can help on his Facebook page.
