1. The Montgomery County Board of Elections (BOE) has restored early voting centers in Bethesda and Burtonsville and the BOE is asking the state of Maryland for a tenth site in Potomac. #earlyvoting

3. The Montgomery County Council will proclaim the month of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month at today’s meeting. Find out what else is on the Council’s agenda, here.

4. Montgomery County police officers are investigating a hit and run in Germantown.

5. We are counting down to Oct. 24th. That’s when Montgomery County hosts “Honor and Gratitude:  A Salute to Montgomery County’s Vietnam Veterans.” Five former Vietnam POWs are scheduled to attend this ceremony at the Universities at Shady Grove. You can register for the event, here.
