1. Coffee with a Cop: Join Gaithersburg and Montgomery County police officers at Java Junction from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. for coffee with a cop.

2. A Cleaner River: Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett is scheduled to join Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker and District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser for the signing of the Anacostia River Accord at a news conference this morning.

3. Art in Public PlacesArtist Juan Pineda is being honored at a dedication ceremony for his mural, “Paint the Town,” today, at the Bethesda Metro Center.

4. Vote 2016: Congressman Chris Van Hollen, who is running for U.S. Senate, has scheduled a campaign stop at Leisure World this afternoon. Did you know that early voting begins two weeks from today, on Oct. 27, at ten locations across Montgomery County?
