1. Today is the last day of early voting. You can cast your ballot from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at ten locations across Montgomery County. The Presidential General Election is on Nov. 8.

2. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for the new Thomas Edison High School of Technology this afternoon in Silver Spring.

3.The Faith Community Working Group will host its second Interracial/Interfaith Dialogue, “Seeing the Divine in Each Other” tonight at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville.

4. Marilyn J. Praisner Library will host a discussion with authors Leah Cypess and Veronica Bartles tonight. Bethesda Library will also be holding an author discussion with Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff, Kiersten White, and Catherine Egan.

5. R.E.M.’s Mike Mills will be performing a concerto with a four-piece rock band and a string orchestra at The Music Center at Strathmore.
