1. Digital deals: It’s Cyber Monday, and the National Retail Federation predicts that over 122 million consumers will shop online today.

2. Holiday shopping safety campaign: Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will be joined by public safety officials in Clarksburg today to discuss the importance of shopping safety when you are out and about this holiday season. Police officers and firefighters are expected to launch the “Shop with a Cop or Firefighter” campaign.

3. Rental housing discussion: The County Council’s Planning, Housing and Economic Development (PHED) Committee is scheduled to discuss the Planning Department’s rental housing study at 1:30 p.m. today. 4. Straight to states: The Damascus Swarmin’ Hornets and the Quince Orchard Cougars have advanced to the state championship games in 3A and 4A high school football, respectively. Football fans can find ticket information, below:

5. Dance notes: If your little one likes to dance, head over to the Germantown Library at 10 a.m today for a special event. Tonight, the Music Center at Strathmore hosts a special performance by the Estampas Porteñas Tango Company.
