1. It was a busy weekend for fire and rescue crews in Montgomery County. According to Fire Spokesperson Pete Piringer approximately 1,000 fire and rescue units responded to calls this holiday weekend.

2. One of those incidents involved a teenager who was hospitalized after a near drowning in White Oak.

3. A city of Rockville employee was injured, along with several others, during a truck accident at the Rockville Memorial Day Parade.

4. A street resurfacing project is scheduled to begin today in Gaithersburg.

5. It’s high school graduation time. Seniors at Albert Einstein High, Rockville High, and Winston Churchill will graduate today.
