Some county employees are working from home today after a bed bug infestation was confirmed at the Department of Health and Human Services administrative offices at 401 Hungerford Drive earlier this month. A meeting to discuss employees’ concerns about bed bugs is scheduled to take place at the Executive Office Building today.

2. It’s graduation season! Commencement ceremonies begin today for Alternative Programs, Montgomery Blair and Winston Churchill high schools. Congratulations to the Class of 2016!

3. The Flags for our Heroes exhibit is now on display for Memorial Day weekend at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg. Are you headed to the beach? More than 38 million American are expected to getaway this holiday weekend, according to AAA.

4. Quince Orchard High plays for the 4A state baseball championship today at the University of Maryland’s Shipley Field. Good luck Cougars!

5. Maryland State Police are planning to conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Montgomery County.
