Good morning! Rain is in the forecast today. Here are five things to know today, May 23, in Montgomery County:

1. A community meeting will be held tonight to discuss the Rock Spring Master Plan at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda at 7 p.m.

2. Today is the start of Montgomery County Recycling Awareness Week. For tips on recycling, visit the Department of Environmental Protection website.

3.  The Mayor and Council of Gaithersburg will meet tonight for a work session. The main topic of discussion will be the construction of additional parking spaces on Orchard Ridge Drive. The work session will take place at the Quince Orchard Community Center from 7:30 p.m.

4. Rockville Mayor and Council meet tonight and on the agenda is the issue of school bus parking.

5. A health workshop for seniors will be hosted by Holy Cross Health today in Silver Spring. The event is part of a six-week workshop to help seniors manage their health. The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Holiday Park Senior Center located at 3950 Ferrara Drive.

And one more thing: A meditation class for adults will be held at the Gaithersburg Library from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those interested can register online for the class.
