1. The Montgomery County Council is scheduled to hold a legislative session and on the agenda: recordation tax rates. You can view the full agenda here.

2. A plea hearing for Luis Reluzco, the driver that fatally struck Officer Noah Leotta, is scheduled for this afternoon.

3. Montgomery Councilmember Craig Rice is hosting a Community Forum and Town Hall  at the Germantown Community Library to discuss crime concerns tonight.

4. Organizers are looking for volunteers to help with the June 18 Silver Spring Blues Festival. The first orientation is tonight at the Silver Spring Civic Building at 7:30 p.m.

5. Strathmore’s Artist in Residence Kimberly Kong is scheduled to host a Piano Master Workshop tonight at 7:30 p.m.

One more thing: The Montgomery County Department of General Services and Montgomery County Office of Procurement will be hosting a vendor outreach event for local, small and minority-owned vendors.
