1.  The Montgomery County Council will be in session today and on the agenda; work session on the FY 17 budget. You can view the full agenda here.

2. The Carver Coalition is scheduled to meet at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville at 7 p.m.

3. Gaithersburg Police Foundation will be hosting a fundraiser at Dogfish Head Alehouse. The public is encouraged to come in anytime between 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., 15 percent of the day’s proceeds will go to the foundation.

4. Long Branch library will be showing the movie “Maze Runner” today at 5:30 p.m.

5. Hip hop group Flatbush Zombie will be performing at The Fillmore Silver Spring tonight at 7 p.m.
