1. The groundbreaking for the new 2nd District Police Station will take place today at 10:30 a.m. in Bethesda.
2. Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice, along with officials from MCPS and Montgomery College, will host an Education Budget meeting at Gaithersburg High School tonight at 6:30 p.m.
3. Gaithersburg officials will be holding a meeting on the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding that is available to the City through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The meeting will take place at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Citizens are encouraged to provide input.
4. The Takoma Park Council will be meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. and on the agenda; information on the Library Renovation Project. You can view the full agenda here.
5. The Mansion at Strathmore will feature the vocal stylings of Artist in Residence Cassandra Allen tonight at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available for the concert.
