2. Congratulations: Watkins Mill and Northwest high schools are holding commencement ceremonies today.

3. Community Policing: The Montgomery County Council will have a discussion with County Police Chief Tom Manger on his department’s implementation of “community policing” at 11 a.m. today. Follow MyMCMedia on Twitter for updates of that meeting.

4. Studying Safety: The Maryland State Highway Administration turned down County Councilmember’s Craig Rice’s request for a pedestrian safety audit along Md. 355 in Germantown, but the administration said they would conduct a different type of study. Find out about it here.
