1. Residents are invited to participate in a town hall meeting to learn about the County’s plan for fighting the Zika Virus and what individuals can do to protect themselves. The town hall will be held at the Sidney Kramer Upcounty Regional Services Center in Germantown at 6:30 p.m.

2. Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) teachers are participating in a pilot program that’s promoting religious literacy.

3. 1980s hair metal band Whitesnake will perform at The Fillmore at 8 p.m. The band is known for hits like “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love.”

4. Grammy award winning musicians Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer will be performing at Aspen Hill Library at 5 p.m.

5. Strathmore’s Artist in Residence Be Steadwell will perform tonight at AMP by Strathmore. Her performance will feature onstage-compositions using loop pedal vocal layering and beat boxing.
