In Gaithersburg, eastbound Perry Parkway will be closed from West Diamond Avenue to Route 355 today and tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for golf tournament parking. #QLNational

2. There’s still a race for County Council District 5. #MoCoVote

3. The newest Montgomery County Councilmember is Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz who has won the District 3 seat and who does not face a challenger in the November general election. #MoCoVote

4. Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett was the top vote getter in the democratic race for County Executive. #MoCoVote
