1. The Monday morning commute is off to a slow start for some motorists in Silver Spring. Troopers are investigating a tractor trailer wreck and fuel spill this morning on the Beltway. The outer loop of 495 is closed between Route 29 and Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. There are reports of two other accidents in this area as well.

2. The Town of Poolesville will celebrate the completion of a new solar array system today.

3. The Montgomery County Board of Elections will conduct a public test of the voting system today to be used during Early Voting. Also, June 3 (that’s tomorrow!) is the deadline to register to vote in the primary election. #MoCoVote

4. County Councilmember Hans Riemer will announce his initiative to plant 100,000 trees in Montgomery County.

5. It’s graduation day for seniors at Northwood High, Springbrook High, Poolesville High and Stephen Knolls schools.
