2. On the Agenda: The Montgomery County Council meets today and one of the items on the agenda is the preferred Bus Rapid Transit route for Veirs Mill Road. That discussion is scheduled for 10 a.m.
3. Assignment Education: The Montgomery County Board of Education is meeting all day today in Rockville. According to the agenda, the school board meeting will begin in closed session. The open session begins at 10 a.m. and includes the recognition of several scholars, the approval of the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the MCEA, the adoption of the 2018 operating budget and more. 4. Chamber Dinner: The annual Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce dinner, which features several key awards, takes place tonight at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
