1. Deer Hunting Pilot Program: Montgomery Parks is seeking public comments for a proposed pilot archery deer hunting program. Officials will receive comments through July 30 as part of its evaluation process. Submit comments here.

2. Summer Concerts at Glen Echo Park: QuinTango! A quintet of two violins, cello, bass, and piano will perform tango songs at the Bumper Car Pavilion tonight!

3. White Flint Mall Garage Demolition Begins: Demolition of three sections of the White Flint Mall parking garage continues. The work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

4. Military Appreciation Month:  Honor the military on Thursday nights throughout the month of July. Enjoy special performances by the Air Force, Navy, and Army Band.

5. Silver Spring Contra Dance: It’s a combination of culture, dance, fitness, and wellness. The Carpe Diem Arts hosts an evening of live music at the Silver Spring Civic Building for dancers of all ages.
