1. Silver Spring Transit Center: Metro bus drivers are scheduled to begin training at the Silver Spring Transit Center today.

2. Graffiti in Silver Spring: Graffiti is on the rise in Silver Spring and, if you see it, county officials want you to report it.

3. Kentlands Retaining Wall: Gaithersburg City Manager Tony Tomasello describes a request from the Kentlands Citizens Assembly for $900,000 to repair a retaining wall as “unprecedented.” Two city officials have recused themselves from the matter as well.

4. President’s Briefing: Montgomery County Council President George Leventhal is scheduled to meet with reporters at noon today in Rockville to talk about some of the upcoming items on the Council’s agenda. Follow MyMCMedia on Twitter for updates.
