1. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory today from noon until 8 p.m. The Heat Index may reach 109 degrees.
2. The Democratic National Convention takes place this week in Philadelphia and three Montgomery County Councilmembers have been elected to serve as delegates at the convention.

4. Congressman John Delaney’s office is hosting a workshop for seniors at the Gaithersburg Library from 10 a.m. to noon today. Senior will receive one-on-one help about their benefits and services that are available to them.
