Local Legislation: The Montgomery County Council is expected to take action on Bill 17-15 today that addresses predatory towing of vehicles parked on private property and Bill 33-15 that seeks to improve taxi service in Montgomery County by helping the existing taxi structure better compete with new types of services.
3. Public Hearing on Liquor Control: The Council’s Ad Hoc Committee on Liquor Control will hold a public hearing tonight about the county’s Department of Liquor Control.
4. Civic Duty: County Executive Ike Leggett spent a good portion of Monday at the Montgomery County Circuit Courthouse but says he was not selected for jury duty.
