1. Chatting with Ike: County Executive Ike Leggett holds an online town hall meeting from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. County residents may submit questions to Leggett before and during the chat.
2. Bethesda Blast: The first controlled test blast for the MD 355/Rockville Pike Crossing Project at the Medical Center Metro Station is scheduled to occur between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Traffic on MD 355 will be halted between Jones Bridge Road and South Wood Drive approximately 10 minutes before the single blast, and alarms will sound five minutes before the blast. Roads will re-open shortly after the blast and an “All Clear” horn has sounded.
3. City Planning: Gaithersburg’s Planning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Here’s the agenda.
4. Drop-In Soccer: Montgomery Recreation has drop-in soccer for middle and high school boys and girls all through July. On Wednesdays, it’s in Wheaton.
