1. Free School Supplies: Families and representatives from nonprofits can pick up free school supplies at the annual Drive for Supplies celebration beginning at 9 a.m. at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville.
2. Gangs and Crime: The Montgomery County Council’s Public Safety Committee meets at 10 a.m. to discuss gang activity and crime stats in the county.
3. Body Worn Cameras: In Gaithersburg, residents are invited to provide feedback about a draft policy for body worn cameras at a community meeting hosted by the Gaithersburg Police Department. The meeting takes place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park, and will include a demonstration of the cameras and a question and answer session.
