2. Safe Silver Spring is holding its annual legislative forum tonight.

3. The Gaithersburg Book Festival Committee is holding its first meeting of the New Year tonight. Save the date: the Book Festival is scheduled for May 21st at the grounds of City Hall.

4. The town of Chevy Chase has posted its position on the Bethesda Sector Plan.

5. In case you haven’t heard, O’Donnells Market is now open in Potomac, and that means those rum buns are back!
