1. The Montgomery Planning Board meets today and on the agenda is a worksession on the White Flint 2 Sector Plan. The planning board is also scheduled to establish the Bethesda Overlay zone for the Bethesda Downtown Plan.

2. The Council Health and Human Services and Education Committees will meet jointly to receive a briefing on  New York City’s efforts to implement Universal Pre-Kindergarden.

3. The county recreation department launches the 100 mile challenge today. Register online at activemontgomery.org, using activity #26595.

4. It’s family movie night at Bethesda Library with Mr. Popper’s Penguins at 6:30 p.m.
