4. As local officials report a spike in heroin-related deaths in Montgomery County, the Avery Road Treatment Center offers help and hope to those battling addiction in our county.

5. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services has launched a new safety program, Home Safety Check, for seniors in our county.
