2. WSSC is reporting a high number of water main breaks in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties this month and WSSC crews are preparing for many more this winter.
3. Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett has a new title: he’s been named the President of the Maryland Association of Counties.
4. The NTSB has released its preliminary report following the Metro incident last week, and U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski said in a statement that “many questions remain unanswered.”
