2.  An ambulance crew struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning while responding to a call on I-495 remains hospitalized today.

3. Need a new appliance? Certain energy star products are tax free this holiday weekend.

4. Dr. Joshua Starr’s resignation as Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) superintendent is effective today, Feb. 16. The Board of Education has named Larry Bowers as interim superintendent while a national search for a new superintendent is underway.
