1. Montgomery County Police Chief Tom Manger and Officer Noah Leotta’s parents will be in Annapolis to speak on strengthening ignition interlock laws in Maryland. Mother’s Against Drink Driving (MADD) will broadcast the event on Twitter @maddonline.

2. MCPS will be holding a webinar for parents on PARCC assessments tonight at 7 p.m.

3.The Montgomery County Council will be holding a public hearing on County Executive Ike Leggett’s recommended FY 2017 budget and the FY2017-22 CIP. The hearing will be live-streamed on the County Council website.

4. Rockville is ensuring the city’s parks and facilities are accessible to all and meet the Americans with Disabilities Act. The city will be holding a meeting open to the public about the ADA Audit and Transition Plan tonight at 7 p.m.

5. Two-time Grammy nominee Tim Reynolds and his band TR3 will be performing at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper club tonight at 8 p.m.

One more thing: Montgomery Community Media (MCM) will be holding its February Community Advisory Council meeting tonight at 7:45 p.m. at our offices in Rockville.
