3. General Services Director David Dise is initiating radon testing in county facilities after reports of elevated levels in more than two dozen schools.
4. Today is the one-year anniversary of a fatal plane crash that took the lives of six people in the Gaithersburg area of Montgomery County, and the final report is still pending. An NTSB official tells MyMCMedia that the crash continues to be investigated.
5. Maryland Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford is scheduled to be in Gaithersburg tonight for a Chanukah Firetruck Parade in Kentlands and menorah lighting at Chabad Lubavitch of Upper Montgomery.
