1. Maryland’s electors will meet at 1 p.m. today at the State House in Annapolis to cast their electoral votes for President and Vice President of the United States. For the first time, you can watch this process live, here.

2. Gaithersburg’s elected leaders meet tonight at City Hall where they will elect a new vice president of the Council, and the local leaders will also decide whether or not to annex the 23-acre Johnson property at Darnestown Road and Quince Orchard Road. 3. Montgomery County is celebrating its Olympic athletes tonight in Silver Spring, and you are invited to attend.

4. Poolesville Town Commissioners are scheduled to discuss development plans for a new synthetic ice rink at tonight’s meeting.
