1. Santa will be trading in his sleigh for a Harley-Davidson today during the Montgomery County Police Department’s annual Santa Ride that benefits The Children’s Inn at NIH.
2. Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy is scheduled to receive the Patriot’s award today at the Circuit Court for hiring, retaining, and working with veterans both in Reserves and former active duty.
3. The Department of Permitting Services will close at noon to 4 p.m. today for an Employee Appreciation event. DPS eServices will be available to apply for permits and upload plans.
4. Montgomery Parks will be hosting a Festive Fresh Greens event today at Brookside Gardens, where attendees can make holiday wreaths and centerpieces.
5. Marilyn J. Praisner Library is hosting Movie Night and will be screening “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” tonight at 6:30 p.m.
