1. Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and U.S. Senator Ben Cardin are scheduled to tour the damaged buildings at the Flower Branch Apartments complex this morning. Police found a sixth body in the building debris yesterday afternoon.

2. The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation hired its first president and CEO, David Petr.

3. The Olney Swim Center will be closed for annual cleaning now through August 28th.

4. From Bethesda Beat: Pre-construction work for the Purple Line is scheduled to begin today.

5. It’s Senior Day at the Agricultural Fair today, free admission for all senior citizens 62 plus until 5 p.m.
