Here are five things to know today, Aug. 14, in Montgomery County:

1. One-of-a-Kind Art Project: The Kentlands Mansion has an unusual public art project from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will outline and paint their hands to help create the city’s tree logo and paint a picture or message on rocks to place around Gaithersburg using the #GaithersburgRocks hashtag.

2. Clinics: From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the School Health Services Center, 4910 Macon Road, Rockville, will have walk-in clinics for students entering seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th grade in need of the required vaccinations. A copy of the child’s immunization record is required in order to receive vaccinations.

3. Fall Guide: Registration begins Monday for fall classes and recreation programs.

4. Pool Closed: The Kennedy Shriver Pool will be closed for repairs until Sept. 4.

5. A Fair the Well: The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair continues at the Gaithersburg fairgrounds.
