Here are five things to know today, April 6, in Montgomery County:

1. Wednesday’s beautiful weather will be just a memory today as nasty weather moves in.

2. The Montgomery County Planning Board gets a briefing on the status of delineating cemeteries. The meeting starts at 9 a.m.

3. Democrats and public education advocates will have a news conference, calling for lawmakers to override Gov. Larry Hogan’s veto of the Protect Our Schools Act. The news conference starts at 10 a.m. in Annapolis.

4. The Montgomery County Council continues its public hearings on fiscal 2018 budgets at 1:30 p.m. and in the Third Floor Hearing Room.

5. Monkey Joe’s in Germantown and Montgomery County Public Schools to host a 6 p.m. event for Autism Awareness Month. The classes will be held in a low stimuli environment and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Montgomery County Public Schools’ autism program.
