1. Opioid Crisis: Maryland officials are warning residents about a carfentanil threat after three deaths in Anne Arundel and Frederick counties.
2. Westbard Rally: Members of the Macedonia Baptist Church are planning to demonstrate at 10 a.m. at the County Executive Office building to protect the Bethesda African Cemetery on River Road. Church members say today’s rally is the first of weekly Tuesday rallies at county buildings.
3. Ice Dance Champions: The Montgomery County Council is scheduled to recognize Rachel and Michael Parsons for winning the World Junior Title in Ice Dance.
4. Assignment Education: The Montgomery County Board of Education meets today and one of the items on the agenda is the Clarksburg Cluster Elementary School project.
