1. Montgomery County police officers are investigating the death of an 18-year-old male as a a homicide. Police say the victim was assaulted at Centerway Park in Montgomery Village around 10 p.m. last night.

2. It’s one day before the Presidential Primary Election and the candidates in local and national races are making that final push for votes. Governor John Kasich of Ohio, a Republican presidential candidate, is holding a Town Hall meeting today at the Thomas Farm Community Center in Rockville. Congressman Chris Van Hollen, a Democrat who is running for Senate, is holding a rally tonight at his campaign headquarters in Kensington.

3. It’s Zika Virus Awareness Week.  Montgomery County Council members recently received an update from the county’s top health officer  about the virus and how to protect yourself from it.

4. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has ordered the state flag to half staff today in honor of  Nathaniel Henry McDavitt, a U.S. airman from Maryland who died earlier this month.

5. Ride On’s annual Give and Ride campaign that benefits the Manna Food Center is now underway. You can find out more about the kickoff of this campaign, here.
