1. Montgomery County Public Schools places 11 schools on the “Best High Schools” list.

2. Several Montgomery County Council committees are meeting today, including the Public Safety Committee, which is scheduled to review the operating budget request of the Fire and Rescue Service.

3. Vote 2014: A gubernatorial forum is planned tonight on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus of Montgomery College. And, a
County Executive and County Council candidates forum is scheduled at the Silver Spring Civic Building, hosted by Conservation Montgomery.

4. Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz will donate a tree as part of an Arbor Day celebration at Gaithersburg Elementary today.

5. It’s restaurant week on Bethesda Row.
