1. It’s your last chance to become a local celebrity by auditioning for Moco’s Got Talent. Final auditions will take place at the White Oak Community Center. Montgomery County students in middle and high school are eligible to participate.

2. Damascus Community Bank will open a new full-service branch on Airpark Road in Gaithersburg. The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m.

3. The 17th Annual Bethesda Literary Festival kicks off today at 10 a.m. Participating authors include Joanne Bamberger, Michelle Brafman, David E. Hoffman and more.

4. Rick Kanton will perform live at Kefa Cafe in Silver Spring at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
