1. It’s down to the wire for Noah’s Law. State lawmakers have until midnight to pass the legislation named for fallen Montgomery County Police Officer Noah Leotta. Police Chief Tom Manger, Leotta family members and other supporters of the law held a news conference on Sunday in Bethesda urging lawmakers to pass the measure that toughens the state’s drunk driving laws.
2. The city of Rockville wants to hear from you. A public hearing is scheduled tonight on the draft Rockville Pike Plan.
3. In Gaithersburg, local leaders are celebrating Arab American Heritage Month tonight. City leaders are also holding a work session on small cell facilities.
4. Road work may delay your commute in Silver Spring. Beginning today, Clark Construction is planning to close lanes on East-West Highway between Blair Mill Road and Colesville Road in downtown Silver Spring in order to install a water main for a new apartment building complex.
5. The budget and the Westbard Sector Plan are two of the topics County Council President Nancy Floreen is expected to discuss at her weekly briefing today in Rockville.
