1. Parking Day: Seventeen metered parking spaces will be transformed today into park-like spots in Bethesda and Silver Spring.

2. Lunch with the Mayor: Takoma Park Mayor Kate Stewart invites residents to a monthly lunch featuring restaurants located in the Takoma Langley Crossroads area. Today’s lunch takes place at noon at the El Campeon Rotisserie Chicken & Bakery,902 Merrimac Dr, Takoma Park.

3. Armenian Food Festival: Stop by the Soorp Khatch Armenian Church in Bethesda for home baked desserts, freshly brewed Armenian coffee, handmade gifts from Armenia, attic treasures, backgammon and belote tournament. The church is located at 4906 Flint Drive in Bethesda.

4. Friday Night Football: MCM will cover the Paint Branch at Blair game tonight with kickoff at 7 p.m.
