1. Commencements: Two schools hold graduation ceremonies today: Paint Branch High School, Burtonsville, will hold its graduation ceremony at 9 a.m. at the school. Stephen Knolls School, Silver Spring, will hold its graduation ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, also at the school.

2. I go to Rio: The Rio Summer Concert Series continues at 6 p.m. Tonight, the Janglebachs perform.

3. Flags for Our Heroes: The Gaithersburg Rotary Club is sponsoring an event at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bohrer Park — a tribute to the heroes in our lives, members of the military or first responders, teachers, coaches, mentors or anyone else who has been a hero in your life.
