First off, it’s going to be a busy weekend. Here are five more things to know today, June 30, in Montgomery County:
1. Batman, in Pieces: “The Lego Batman Movie” will be the Movie on the Lawn at the Clara Barton Community Recreation Center, 7425 MacArthur Blvd., Cabin John from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Bring your favorite blanket or chair for a night at the movies under the stars.
2. Going Green: The Quicken Loans National continues at TPC Potomac. Tickets still available.
3. Fresh Goodies: The Rockville Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Md. 28 and Monroe Street, in the jury parking lot.
4. Gaithersburg All Gussied Up: From 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, the Summerfest Lawn Party at Bohrer Park will include stages of live music, great food and plenty of activities for kids, and now we’re keeping the fun going by capping off the evening with spectacular fireworks and an illuminating SummerGlo After Party.
