1.Flags at Half-Staff: Gov. Larry Hogan has ordered Maryland flags to be lowered to half-staff to honor Cpl. Mujahid Ramzziddin of the Prince George’s County police.
2. MD First Lady: Maryland’s First Lady Yumi Hogan is expected to judge Arbor Day posters created by fifth grade students throughout the state in a recent contest by The Maryland Forest Service. The theme for the posters this year is: Trees Are Terrific and Make Communities Healthy.
3. Digital Feedback Launch: The Montgomery County Planning Board has launched a new digital feedback map for the Veirs Mill Corridor master plan.
4. Spring Career and Internship Fair: Washington Adventist University will hold its annual spring career and internship fair at 11 a.m.
5. Tax Preparatation Help: RSVP/AARP Tax-Aide Program will provide free income tax preparation assistance by trained volunteers for low-to-moderate income Montgomery County taxpayers at the Olney Library Branch from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
