Here’s five things to know today, Nov. 27, in Montgomery County:
1. Online Sales: Today is Cyber Monday. People will be scouring the internet looking for deals.
2. Meet the Media: Council President Roger Berliner will be meeting with the media today at 11:30 a.m.
3. Health and Human Services: The Montgomery County Council’s HHS Committee will have a 9:30 a.m. session to discuss the effects of changes to the Affordable Care Act. Then at 10:15 a.m., the panel hears about gang prevention strategies. The session will be in the Seventh Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building in Rockville.
4. More Government News: The council’s planning committee hears about proposals to relax limits on brewers and distillers at a 2 p.m. session. Comptroller Peter Franchot plans to expand craft breweries in the 2018 General Assembly session.
5. Jerry Lewis: The comedian, who died in August, will be remembered at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Metro Red Line Project: Metro’s Takoma station closes Nov. 25 thru Dec. 10 for major track work. A four-mile section of track will be replaced.
WMATA to close Red Line between Silver Spring and Fort Totten stations 11/25-12/10.
