1. Schools Close Early: Public schools close after lunch today.
2. Two Year Anniversary Party: Celebrating two years of serving customers, 7 Locks Brewing is hosting a Thanksgiving Eve party with live music by Skribe, starting at 7:30 p.m.
3. Bethesda’s Turkey Chase: The 35th Annual Turkey Chase takes place Thanksgiving Day in Bethesda. The event benefits YMCA’s Youth and Family Services, YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase and the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club Foundation.
4. Holiday Light Displays: Gaithersburg’s Winter Lights Festival at Seneca Creek State Park and Montgomery Parks’ Garden of Lights display at Brookside Gardens both open Friday, Nov. 24.
5. Metro Red Line Project: Metro’s Takoma station closes Nov. 25 thru Dec. 10 for major track work. A four-mile section of track will be replaced.
WMATA to close Red Line between Silver Spring and Fort Totten stations 11/25-12/10.
