1.Takoma Park Police Officer Funeral: The funeral for Takoma Park Police Acting Detective Sergeant Matthew Barber will be held today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Frederick Church of the Brethren located at 201 Fairview Avenue in Frederick, Maryland.
2.Takoma Park Police Department Offices are Closed:

BRT US29-Central Corridor Advisory Committe Meeting: MCDOT’s project manager for the US 29 Mobility ad Reliabiltiy Study will provide an overview of the study scope and schedule during CAC’s regular schedule advisory committee meeting tonight. The meeting will take place at Silver Spring Methodist Church in the fellowship room, located at 33 University Boulevard East.
