1. MCPD Annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Service: The Montgomery County Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the Maryland-National Capital Park Police will honor fallen officers at the annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Service. The memorial will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Public Safety Headquarters located at 100 Edison Park Drive in Gaithersburg.
2. Girls Empowering Moment: Montgomery County’s Recreation Department is hosting a girl empowering moment in the lounge of the Gwendolyn Coffield Recreation Center to help participants enhance their leadership skills.
